Why prices differ between Amazon stores
Each Amazon store has its own stock, sellers, promotions and competition. A product can be on sale on Amazon.de, out of stock at Amazon on Amazon.fr, or sold by a single third-party seller in Italy. VAT rates differ too: 19% in Germany, 20% in France, 21% in Spain, 22% in Italy.
These gaps are real but short-lived: they last from a few hours to a few weeks. Hence a list recalculated every day on recent prices.
Calculating a product's margin
The margin of a resale is not just the price gap. Remove VAT (if you are VAT-registered you pay it on the sale and reclaim it on the purchase), the Amazon referral fee (usually 7 to 15% of the VAT-inclusive price depending on the category) and FBA pick, pack and shipping fees.
- Resale price excl. VAT = price incl. VAT ÷ (1 + resale country VAT).
- Purchase price excl. VAT = price incl. VAT ÷ (1 + purchase country VAT).
- Margin = resale excl. VAT − purchase excl. VAT − referral fee − FBA fees.
- ROI = margin ÷ purchase price excl. VAT.
Then come inbound shipping, FNSKU labelling, storage and the seller subscription: a 20 to 30% ROI leaves room for these costs, a 5% ROI almost never does.
Checking that a product sells
A great margin is useless if the product does not sell. Look at the monthly sales Amazon shows ("X bought in past month") when available, the best-sellers rank in the category and the number of sellers already on the listing.
Be careful with listings Amazon sells itself: Amazon often wins the Buy Box and matches prices quickly. A listing with 2 to 10 sellers and steady sales is usually the healthiest.
VAT, OSS and Pan-European FBA
Selling to another EU country than yours is a distance sale. Above €10,000 of distance sales per year across the EU, you charge the buyer's country VAT and declare it through the One-Stop Shop (OSS).
With Pan-European FBA, Amazon spreads your stock across warehouses in several countries: you then need a VAT number in each storage country. The European Fulfilment Network (EFN) instead lets you store in one country and sell in the others, with higher cross-border fulfilment fees.
These rules have special cases: have your situation checked by an accountant.
Risks to know
Restricted brands and categories: some brands and categories (toys at the end of the year, beauty, some electronics brands) need approval. Invoices from Amazon orders are often refused to unlock a category: Amazon wants invoices from suppliers or wholesalers.
Brand complaints: a brand owner can report your offers. Reselling a genuine product first placed on the market in the European Economic Area is in principle allowed (exhaustion of trademark rights), but a complaint suspends the offer until resolved: always keep your invoices.
Quantities and condition: Amazon sometimes limits quantities per customer, and the product must arrive new, in its original packaging, with no shipping label stuck on it.
Moving prices: between your purchase and the stock reaching the warehouse, the resale price can drop. Start with small quantities.
How to use Safqio's Amazon to Amazon list
Pick your resale marketplace: the list shows the most profitable products to buy on the other European Amazon stores, with estimated margin, ROI, monthly sales, rank and number of sellers. The top 10 are visible without an account; with a free account you see 100 products and can sort and filter.
Prices are less than 24 hours old and doubtful products (single seller, no known sales, gap above 70%) are left out. Always check the price on Amazon before buying.

Frequently asked questions
Is Amazon to Amazon allowed?
Yes: buying new, genuine products to resell them is allowed, including from one EU country to another. Amazon may however restrict some brands or categories, and Amazon order invoices are often not enough to unlock a restricted category.
Is the list free?
Yes, entirely. The 10 most profitable products are visible without an account; a free account, with no credit card, gives access to 100 products with sorting and filters.
How often is the list updated?
Prices are checked continuously and the list is recalculated several times an hour; no price shown is more than 24 hours old.
Is the margin shown my real margin?
It is an estimate after VAT, Amazon referral fee and FBA fees. Inbound shipping, labelling, storage, seller subscription and income tax are not deducted.
Why is the United Kingdom not included?
Since Brexit, moving stock between the UK and the EU involves customs and import VAT: arbitrage there is rarely profitable for a small seller.
Does Safqio guarantee the margin shown?
No. The list is for information only, with no guarantee: Safqio is not responsible for your buying or reselling decisions. Data may be wrong or out of date; always check prices, FBA fees, restrictions and profitability in Seller Central and with dedicated tools before buying.
